okay not being on windows is annoying cause all the docs for asp.net are about visual studio or vs code or just using the cli and like, i wannya use rider since im not on windows but there's no docs and stuff seems broken and aaaa :(((

Not sure what you mean. Most documentation has a CLI version as well. I am also using right up. I have no issues so far, except hot reloading, but that is just broken and will be fixed soon.
